Inside Sales Benefits Coordinator

San Antonio, TX

Position Summary:

Our Inside Sales Coordinators serve as the primary point of contacts between FCE and clients. We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals who can understand and communicate products and services to clients as well as internal departments. Knowledge of Microsoft Office® and previous sales experience is required to be a key component of our inside sales team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary point of contact and liaison between FCE and client; understand and communicate the products and services sold to the client and internal departments.
  • Knowledge of group insurance and medical benefit products preferred.
  • Employ client retention strategies that foster client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Understand and communicate service level agreements/expectations to the client and internal departments.
  • Sell and administer ancillary products and services to the client; assist with the implementation.
  • Work effectively with internal departments to support client goals and initiatives.
  • Assist with the plan implementation process and work with the Implementation team to prepare for the client onboarding.
  • Stay abreast of industry standards, legislation, insurance product changes, and ongoing trends.
  • Attend to administrative details to be fully compliant with government regulations.
  • Monitors client’s claims to assure consistency with goals and offer full-service administration.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in benefits administration/consulting or insurance industry on the carrier side.
  • One (1) year previous inside sales experience required.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently and self-motivate.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Experience:

  • A background that includes insides sales, and/or benefit administration is strongly preferred.
  • Current Life and Accident/Health License is strongly preferred.
  • Brokerage experience is highly desirable.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Business Administration or combination of equivalent education/experience.
